A short film about brutalist buildings by Coco and Maximilian and U-P

‘Brutti ma Buoni’ (meaning ugly but good) is a short film set in Canberra featuring brutalist buildings. It was co-directed by Coco and Maximilian and U-P accompanied by a live score composed and performed by Speak Percussion.

Coco and Maximilian are filmmakers working between Australia and Italy.

Speak Percussion is a progressive arts organisation that creates experimental, interdisciplinary and contemporary classical music with percussion at its core. They are based in Melbourne and perform worldwide.

U‑P is a creative practice that provides brand development, creative direction and graphic design for cultural and commercial clients across a broad range of media.
