Italian author and artist Francesco Careri talks about his practice of collective walking
In this lecture, Italian author and artist Francesco Careri talks about his practice of collective walking and its capacity to shape spaces, create meaning and form connections between people.
This lecture was part of ‘Walking. A Subversive Design Act’, our program for Melbourne Design Week 2020. It was originally planned to take place at the National Gallery of Victoria on Tuesday 17 March 2020. Instead, due to the escalating situation with Covid-19 and the necessitated closure of the gallery, we filmed the lecture at our Melbourne studio on Monday 16 March, with a small audience practicing the social distancing measures that were required at the time.
