The Lookout
Standing humbly at the edge of the Dairy Road site in Canberra’s East Lake is the Lookout – a small, curious structure that references the bird hides found on the neighbouring Jerrabomberra Wetlands. Rather than facing outwards to the Wetlands, the Lookout faces back towards the industrial landscape of Dairy Road; observing the beginnings of transformation that are underway and looking forward to new things to come.
The Lookout was designed by London-based architects Royffe.Flynn and built by Eifer in 2020.
