Molonglo

Pavilion Studios is a set of workspaces for creatively-minded businesses located on the south-eastern side of NewActon Pavilion in Molonglo’s NewActon precinct. It is home to local artists, designers and other great thinkers. Each studio is unique in its size, layout and character; some have beautiful timber floors, while others have stone. All have crisp white walls and are flooded with natural light.

The Pavilion Studios identity was a collaboration with design partners U-P. It plays with archetypes in architecture through a variety of ‘pavilion’ motifs. Each studio has its own pavilion iconography applied as a decal on perspex. This choice of synthetic signage materials breaks the ho-hum of familiar heritage building cues.
