Dairy Road, Canberra
An 88 sqm ground floor space in a refurbished warehouse for producers, makers and creatives. The open plan space is robust and adaptable – polished concrete underfoot, high warehouse ceilings above, and light that shifts through the day. Two entry points allow easy movement and cross-ventilation. An existing office and kitchen make the space ready to work in, or to shape as needed.

Building 3 is a repurposed 1970s warehouse, home to many Canberra favourites including Canteen, Capital Brewing Co, Grainger Gallery and Keep Co along with naturopathy services, a guitar studio, theatre, hair salon, chocolate producer, yoga studios, distillers and a table tennis centre.
Dairy Road is a 14-hectare site in Canberra’s East Lake next to the industrial suburb of Fyshwick and the Jerrabomberra Wetlands. So far at Dairy Road, an adaptive reuse approach has focused on interior architectural insertions in two existing industrial warehouses, providing workshops for makers and producers. More recently indoor recreation and wellness operators have also found a home in these repurposed spaces. Gardens have replaced asphalt and concrete providing shade, seating and open areas for events and play. These works have transformed Dairy Road into a destinational innovation and creative precinct with an established community of 40+ businesses working across art, culture and design, creative industries, technology, food production, hospitality, light industry, and recreation and health, attracting 900,000 visitors annually.
